Invoicing and reminders you can trust
This release makes invoicing easier to trust. Batch invoice lists now stay focused on the batch you selected, Invoicing Settings shows the real automatic invoicing state for your organisation, and automatic invoices plus WhatsApp payment reminders now fail more safely when something needs attention.
Cleaner batch invoice lists
Batch finances are now easier to review when a student belongs to more than one batch. On the Batch detail page's Invoices tab, and on the All Invoices list when you use course and batch filters, EtheraGuru only shows invoices tied to the selected batch or course. Before, if a student had any enrolment in a batch, invoices from their other batches could appear too — so a weekend-class invoice could slip into your Monday batch view and muddle what that batch had really earned. Now each batch view stays focused on its own figures.
Invoicing Settings shows the real automatic invoicing state
New organisations get a clearer start with automatic invoicing. Settings → Invoicing Settings now shows whether automatic invoicing still needs set-up, is paused, or is enabled — so you see the right status before you rely on it. Previously, a fresh organisation could see an "Auto-Invoicing Enabled" badge before set-up was complete, which suggested invoices would go out when they would not. The page now offers "Set up automatic invoicing" when set-up is missing, and only shows pause or enable actions when they make sense.
More dependable background invoicing and reminders
Automatic invoicing and reminders are now more dependable behind the scenes. The work that creates invoices, sends payment due reminders, marks overdue invoices, and delivers WhatsApp messages now keeps clearer records when something fails, so it can be checked and tried again safely. Before, some failures could look successful or stop without a clear trace; now failed work is recorded or kept safe to try again. If you rely on payment reminders going out without manual chasing, missed or failed work is far easier to catch — no more discovering at month-end that a reminder never went out and nobody noticed.
